Cub Cadet Mower Repair in Simpson, NC
Cub Cadet makes tough, capable equipment — but even the toughest machines need a good mechanic from time to time. At Rude Boy Small Engine Repair, we've been fixing Cub Cadet mowers and outdoor power equipment for over 40 years. We know these machines, we stock the parts, and we get them back to you running right. Walk-ins welcome. No appointment. No grief.
Common Cub Cadet Problems We Fix
Cub Cadet equipment is built to work hard — but hard work takes a toll. Here's what we see most:
- Won't start — after sitting over winter or just refusing to fire up
- Carburetor problems — gummed up fuel, clogged jets, rough or no idle
- Belt and drive issues — worn, cracked, or snapped deck and drive belts
- Blade and spindle problems — bent blades, bad bearings, scalping or uneven cut
- Hydrostatic transmission issues — sluggish, jerky, or won't drive at all
- Electrical faults — ignition switches, PTO switches, and safety sensor failures
- Oil leaks — gaskets, seals, and crankcase issues
- Overheating — clogged cooling fins, low oil, or a failing head gasket
- Steering problems — loose, stiff, or pulling to one side
Not on the list? Bring it in. If it's a Cub Cadet, we've probably seen it before.
Equipment We Service
Cub Cadet builds a full lineup of outdoor power equipment — we work on all of it:
- Zero-turn mowers (Ultima ZT, Ultima ZTX series)
- Riding lawn tractors (XT1, XT2 series)
- Walk-behind push mowers
- Self-propelled mowers
- String trimmers and edgers
- Leaf blowers
- Tillers and cultivators
- And more — if it's got a Cub Cadet badge, bring it in
