Common Briggs & Stratton Problems We Fix
Briggs & Stratton engines are tough, but they're not bulletproof. Here's what we see most:
- Won't start — after sitting all winter or just out of nowhere
- Surging or hunting engine — revving up and down, won't hold a steady idle
- Carburetor problems — gummed up, clogged, or just plain done
- Oil leaks — gaskets, seals, and everything in between
- Blown head gaskets — more common than people think
- Worn piston rings — burning oil, low compression, rough running
- Bad ignition coils — no spark, no start, no good
If it's not on this list, bring it in anyway. We've seen it all.
